The Central Virginia Health District’s database for food establishment inspections has been out of sync since December 13th. According to information shared on Monday, the department recently updated their database, leading to technical issues that are now affecting the display of inspection results.
An example of the discrepancy is the December 13th inspection report. While the database reflects just one inspection—conducted at Mission House Coffee—the department actually performed 14 inspections that day. In total, 70 inspections have been carried out from December 13th through today, yet they remain absent from public view.
Database administrators are reportedly investigating the issue, and efforts are underway to resolve the situation. This means the missing inspections should soon be updated and made available.
Lynchburg Agenda will provide a full update in next week’s edition, ensuring you’re caught up on the latest health inspection results. Stay tuned as we monitor this situation and advocate for transparency in food safety reporting.
