From For Sale to Sold: Greater Lynchburg's Real Estate Transactions April Week 4

This week, the Greater Lynchburg real estate market showcased a variety of high-value transactions across several counties, each with notable sales reflecting the diverse nature of the area's real estate landscape.

 In the City of Lynchburg, the highest sale recorded was by Oaklink LLC to Edward T. and Linda S. Burns for a lot in The Preserve at Oakwood, priced at $489,000.

 In Amherst County, the top sale was a parcel of 13.5 acres sold by Diane D. Foster to Anthony and Ruby Rodriguez for $305,000.

 Moving to Appomattox County, the highest priced transaction was a property at 2242 Old Evergreen Road, which Rachel D. Royal sold to Melissa A. Hemingway for $439,900.

 Bedford County saw a transaction with Oakwood SNF Property Holdings LLC selling a healthcare condominium unit to 1613 Oakwood Street SNF Real Estate LLC for $17 million, significantly higher than any other sale in the region this week. Two other notable transactions with one commercial came in with E&N Properties of Roanoke LLC to NBS Real Estate LLC selling multiple lots of Shady Knoll Townhomes at $2,872,500. Robert F. Martin sold to Michael Glenn and Carol Ann Staples. Lot 11, at Aspen Point, for $838,000

 In Campbell County, the most notable sale was by Equity Enterprise 1984 LLC to Brandi Shotwell and Dakota Williams for a property in Hyland Farm, which went for $495,000.

 Additionally, the area saw several new dwellings and building projects initiated, indicating an interest in new construction and development across the Greater Lynchburg area.

 Bedford County stood out with several high value permits for new constructions. Samuel Staples obtained a permit for a new dwelling valued at $1 million.

 Another significant permit was issued to Robert Garcia for a new dwelling on Patterson Mill Road, at $950,000.

 Morgan Overstreet's new dwelling on Centerville Road, at $600,000, along with Larry Balderson's new construction in Surfside Estates, at $710,000 were a couple of additional larger transactions.

 Relatively smaller permits were also issued, such as Paul Hummel III's new dwelling in Harbor Village and Sentry Construction's new project in Farmington at Forest.
