In Amherst County, the highest recorded sale was a property at 337 Peters Hollow Road, sold by David H. Corkum and Nancy S. Corkum to Steven L. Sisler and Mary Jo Sisler for $431,500. Other notable transactions included a lot on Father Judge Road purchased by T&A Ranch LLC for $300,000 and a property in Wynbrooke acquired for $285,000.
Appomattox County’s highest transaction was the sale of a property in The Woods at Stonewall by Andersen Construction Inc. to Grady J. Eimer for $320,000. Other sales included a Dreaming Creek Road parcel for $153,000 and a property on Double Bridges Road for $130,000.
Bedford County saw the highest transaction in the region, with Joel D. and Dreama D. Sodikoff selling 1204 Overlake Avenue in Overlake Knoll to Jennifer L. and Amy D. Switzer for $963,000.

Other high-value transactions included a Lakeland Pines Subdivision in Moneta sold by realtor James P. Nolen for $650,000 and a Farmington at Forest property for $479,000.

In Campbell County, the most significant sale was a lot in Walnut Hills purchased by Arthur and Kelly Benson for $390,000. Other notable sales included a property in Holiday Forest for $330,000 and another in The Allure subdivision for $259,900.
The City of Lynchburg recorded a commercial sale, with Two Boys Realty LLC selling a property at 2117 Wards Road to J.C. Ren LLC for $889,500. Residential transactions included a Bentley Grove property for $515,000 and another in Parkland Drive for $465,000.
Building permits in Campbell County reflected ongoing development, with 29 Lawyers LLC securing a $3.95 million permit for a Wawa convenience store at 14009 Wards Road.
The highest residential permit was for a new dwelling at 1286 Mitchell Mill Road, valued at $365,622.77. Other notable residential developments included new homes in Neighbors Place, Kade Court, and Whipping Creek Road.
The transactions show a mix of commercial and residential activity, with sales occurring in both urban and suburban areas. New residential construction continues in Campbell County, and Bedford County once again recorded the region’s highest residential transaction. Commercial activity in Lynchburg, including the Wawa development, indicates continued investment in retail infrastructure.
