Restaurant Inspections: May 27--June 3

According to the Central Virginia Health District website, thirty-one food establishment inspections were conducted from May 27- June 3. Twenty-one were typical inspections, and the remaining ten were the all-important follow-up inspections.

Of the sixteen typical inspections:

• Ten had zero violations including: Lynchburg’s The Honour Bar & Kitchen, Flavor James Taste Factory, Teachable Moments Preschool, and Super Rad. Forest establishments included Corner Burger, and Chill Out. The remaining two were Burger King on Longwood Avenue in Bedford and Dales Diner Express in Montvale.
• Four had one violation, and the remaining eight ranged from two to eight violations. At the top end, Hangry Joes Hot Chicken had nine violations and McDonalds on Wards Road had seven.
