A new drive-thru coffee experience has arrived in Lynchburg, bringing with it a mission of kindness and an impressive variety of drinks. 7 Brew Coffee, known for its trademark slogan, "Serving joy, one cup at a time," offers more than 20,000 unique drink combinations—including specialty coffee flavors, energy drinks, and even fizzy beverages for kids. This is the first 7 Brew location in the area, marking a continued expansion for the rapidly growing chain, which operates dozens of stores nationwide and four others in Virginia.

Founded in 2017, 7 Brew was built on a philosophy of kindness and community engagement. Virginia, the store's regional manager, highlighted some of the company’s charitable efforts, including "Caffeine for a Cause," a fundraiser that raised $6,000 for Miriam's House, a local homeless shelter. During the event, 7 Brew offered free drinks to encourage donations.

The company plans to continue its community involvement with initiatives such as The Walk to End Alzheimer’s and Relay for Life. Additionally, 7 Brew is inviting local organizations and individuals to reach out for potential partnerships focused on donation drives and fundraising efforts—particularly those supporting Lynchburg-area teachers.

"We really focus on those micro-interactions—those two- or three-minute conversations—to find ways we can cultivate kindness in our community," Garza said. "Whether it's brightening a customer's day or engaging with our loyal supporters, we want every interaction to be meaningful."

To reward its customers, 7 Brew hosts "Swag Days," where guests who purchase a drink receive a free t-shirt. Another standout initiative is the 7 Brew Heroes program, which recognizes individuals making a positive impact in their communities. Each month, a local hero receives $500 and a year’s worth of free coffee, with an annual "Hero of the Year" recipient winning a $10,000 cash prize. Community members can nominate deserving individuals via the company’s website.
