In the Greater Lynchburg region, real estate transactions week 3 April, include notable sales across various counties and the city itself.

In Amherst County, a significant transaction took place when Douglas C. Eubank Sr., Joyce F. Eubank, and Kathryn E. Ferrell sold their property on Buffalo Springs Turnpike to Mark H. Ferrell and Kathryn E. Ferrell for $442,500. Anthony C. Stinnett and Jessica Campbell Stinnett also made a noteworthy sale of their property on Woodland Drive for $328,000.

Moving to Appomattox County, Skyler D. Hickman and Lindsey N. Hickman sold a property on Heritage Trail for $300,000, while Wanda K. Daley made a sale of a parcel near McIver Ferry Road for $55,000.

In Bedford County, Joseph J. and Melissa A. O’Keefe completed a substantial transaction by selling their property on Timberwood Lane for $1,400,000. James V. and Stephanie L. Housden also sold their property on Ridgelake Road for $725,000.

Campbell County saw some transactions as well. Abigail Abbott Underwood, Thomas Christopher Underwood, and Alexandra Marie Underwood sold their property in Runaway Bay for $749,900. Edward S. Turner III made a sale of a parcel on Va. 601 for $630,000.

Within the City of Lynchburg, Bentley Grove LLC completed multiple transactions, including the sale of Lot 9 in Bentley Grove for $499,900, Lot 39 for $492,400, and Lot 36 for $489,900. Laura Elizabeth Lin sold Greenview Drive for $350,000.

Trends across the region include a mix of residential and commercial properties changing hands, with some properties fetching soaring prices due to their location, amenities and current real estate and economic conditions.

In addition to the real estate market, the Greater Lynchburg region has seen building permits being issued in Bedford County, reflecting a diverse range of construction activities. From new dwellings to garage constructions and alterations. Peter Smith secured a permit for a new dwelling on Thunder Ridge Road. Meanwhile, Kristen Viar's permit for a new dwelling on Lochwood Hill Drive. R. Fralin Construction Inc. has been actively involved in new dwelling projects in Boonsboro Meadows. Additionally, noteworthy permits include Ahmed Mohamed's project for a new dwelling in Gilfield Village and Joshua Augustin's investment in a new dwelling in Cedar Rock for $1.9M.
